At Robin Pryer Landscape Craftsman we provide cost effective fencing solutions providing a range of fencing such as closeboard (featheredge), all types of panel, trellis and picket fences. We cover all of Beaconsfield and surrounding areas and offer a high quality fencing installation service to all our customers.
Initially, we carry out a site visit so that we can completely understand the project and discuss your requirements. Once we know the type of fence you need we will provide you with a free, no obligation quote
When the project is finalised and agreement has been reached we will set a schedule to start the project. Firstly we will remove any old fencing and complete any preparation work. We can then begin constructing your new fence. We work to ensure your fencing is installed to a high standar. All old fencing and waste materials will be taken away from site, and we ensure your garden is left clean and tidy. There is a range of fencing that you can choose from such as:-
This type of fencing does offer more flexibility than panels if you needed to avoid established trees or plants. The advantage of these is that they can easily constructed on slopes without the need for ‘stepping’. Traditional closeboard fencing is constructed on site and is built on vertical featheredge boards fixed to arris rails. We only use high quality materials and ensure the fencing is pressure-treated timber. However, a gravel board will always be installed to protect your fence by preventing the grain of the timber from coming into contact with the ground. Either concrete or timber posts can be used to construct the fence and gravel boards, depending on your requirements for the strength of the fence.
We can install any type of panel fencing as there are many types on the market. However, we would recommend that you use one that is strong and durable so as to withstand adverse weather conditions. The two most common types of panel that we install are overlap and closeboard. All panels can be installed with either timber or slotted concrete posts.
Picket fencing creates a decorative feel and homeliness to a garden and is generally chosen for this reason. Whilst it provides a boundary for your property it does not create a barrier. When we install this type of fencing, we will discuss your requirements as to the width and type of pickets that you would like and the shape of the tops. We can also provide you with a matching gate, should you require it. Although the timber is pressure-treated for durability, most of our clients like a painted picket fence and so we will discuss this with you at our no obligation survey.
A trellis topped fence can be used to add further security to your property without making the garden feel too enclosed. It will also further enhance the appearance of your new fence and provide a delicate addition to your garden, enabling plants to grow through it, thus integrating the fence with the garden. Square trellis and diamond lattice are very popular although we will discuss your requirements and provide the best option that suits your garden and is fit for purpose.
Alternatively, if you are not too concerned about privacy, using trellis panels allows you to provide the framework of the whole fence, should you who wish to grow climbing plants.
